draenor-inviteThe folks over at Blizzard have started to send out invitations to World of Warcraft players in order to have them take part in the alpha test of the Warlords of Draenor expansion. Registrations for the alpha test were opened by Blizzard to the masses earlier this April, where the early alpha testing phase would place its emphasis on the Horde experience in Frostfire Ridge, which has been described as “a harsh land of ceaseless winter and volcanic peaks.”

Those who took part in the alpha test had to create a new Horde character, where Blizzard will let you suit up your character and send it straight to level 90. Additional content as well as features are said to be thrown into the mix as the alpha progresses. Players have been given the nod to discuss and share screenshots as well as video footage of their alpha test experiences, which we would presume works in Blizzard’s favor when it comes to raising awareness in the long run.

This expansion will see an overhaul of the World of Warcraft’s original races, where graphically speaking, things will look a whole lot more appealing thanks to a higher polygon count, improved textures, refined animations, and new facial emotes among others. Not only that, additional gameplay changes will be made, while graphical fidelity is improved, in addition to updates introduced for non-player characters, in-game objects and environments.
