acer-selfie-hatNow this is definitely pushing my fashion way beyond that of my comfort zone. As you can tell, it will take a very bold lady to actually wear one of these hats around, unless she is about to join up in the latest tea that is organized by the Mad Hatter. Thankfully, it is not going to be something that you can pick up off from a store shelf. Taiwanese computer manufacturer Acer has worked alongside designer Christian Cowan-Sanluis, and the result of this collaboration happens to be called the Acer Selfie-Hat.

The Acer Selfie-Hat is actually a huge pink sombrero that comes with a tablet case hanging right from one side of it. Want to snap a selfie while keeping both hands free? Fret not, just set a timer on your device’s camera, rotate the hat, and pose as you wait for the timer to count down and take a photo.

The Acer Selfie-Hat was specially created in order for it to carry the Acer Iconia A1-840 tablet that will sport an 8” display alongside an Intel Atom Bay Trail processor. Apart from that, it makes perfect sense for the tablet to carry a front-facing camera, because if it doesn’t, such a hat would have lost its purpose. If you really want one if this badly, then be prepared to make an appointment at the London Fashion Week – this is no doubt a limited edition hat.
