It also provides gamers with news, notifications of impending server maintenance and downtimes, as well as let gamers chat with friends without having to launch a game.

However the games offered right now are only some of Blizzard’s lineup and there are older Blizzard games like the older Warcraft, StarCraft, and Diablo titles that have yet to be added, but that could be changing soon, thanks to a sighting by MMO Champion. According to MMO Champion, they have spotted Warcraft III images that looks like they could be designed to fit the Battle.net launcher.

Assuming that this is indeed the case, it is possible that the launcher could soon be adding some of Blizzard’s older titles to the list as well, thus completing the roundup of games. However according to the folks at Escapist Magazine, they have speculated that the upcoming addition of Warcraft III to the launcher could also signal that Blizzard could be gearing up for Warcraft IV.

It has been a while since Blizzard released a Warcraft title that was not related to World of Warcraft, and with BlizzCon taking place next month, we’re sure many fans of the Warcraft franchise are hoping to hear something, but either way we will keep our eyes and ears peeled for more information, but in the meantime would you like to see a Warcraft IV?
