It goes without saying that any new version of the Android operating system is greeted with much fanfare, and the race will then be on to see just who will roll out the update to older handsets first. We have read about how the LG G2, a handset that is about to approach two years of age, has seen a video of it running on Android 5.0 Lollipop. What are some of the other older flagships that look set to enjoy this operating system version as well? The HTC One M7 is one of them, and this would come across as no surprise since HTC has already introduced the rollout of Android 5.0 Lollipop to the Google Play Edition variants of the HTC One M7 and HTC One M8 not too long ago, which means the Sense versions should be on the receiving end pretty soon.

The video above marks the first time that we have seen the HTC One M7 run on Android 5.0 Lollipop in the flesh. Apart from that, it does look as though Sense 6 runs underneath the hood, which means that there is no “Hima” – or the rumored Sense 7 in the pipeline at the moment.

All in all, it cannot denied that Android 5.0 Lollipop is certainly up and running on the HTC One M7 where the new card multitasking and notification center designs are shown off.
