moshi spatiaSpeakers for the most part look quite dull. A good many of them come in black and have a rather understated design, but then again what’s important in a pair of speakers is its sound quality, not so much its looks, right? Well if looks and sound matter to you, you might be interested in the Moshi Spatia.

The Spatia is a recently announced wireless AirPlay speaker that looks good and would fit in nicely with a home that sports a modern interior design, as you can see in the image above. According to Moshi, the Spatia will feature two DSP chips that will allow for wider sound delivery and will also feature WiFi direct technology to allow for lossless audio streaming.

The speakers will be equipped with two 1-inch silk dome tweeters, two 2.75-inch mid range drivers, and a 4-inch downward firing subwoofer that should hopefully be able to deliver on the bass. The speakers will also come with two built-in Class-D amplifiers to help drive the high/mid and low frequencies separately.

For those without AirPlay, the Spatia will also come with a 3.5mm auxiliary jack for wired playback. Moshi has also announced an accompanying app for the Spatia speakers that will allow users to fine tune the sound via the app’s equalizer. Unfortunately what Moshi didn’t share was when the device would be launched or how much it will cost.
