vertu-signatureThere is nothing quite like having your clan grow in time – it signifies an expansion of territory, and more often than not would be a statement of intent. Case in point, the Vertu SignatureTouch Series that has just received another family member – the Pure Jet Red Gold model.

There is nothing much to be said about what Vertu means when it comes to the world of luxury and bespoke smartphones, but this does not mean that they do not roll out new handsets from time to time. The Vertu SignatureTouch Series’ most recent member would merge existing technology alongside mouth watering high-end design and materials that will no doubt cost a bomb. I suppose the mantra of “if you have to ask, you most probably cannot afford it” would hold true here.

Known as “Pure Jet Red Gold”, it does line up rather similar where its internal components are concerned, where the Pure Jet Red Gold is made from Grade 5 titanium while sporting black PVD-coated titanium for the back portion. There will be a 4.7” Full HD display, a Snapdragon 801 SoC with a quad-core Krait 400 CPU, 2GB RAM, and an asking price of $21,900. Certainly such opulence would also mean throwing out your common sense from the window if one were to think of maximizing the use of one’s money.
