If you ever needed a reason to use Amazon’s shopping app on your smartphone,. how does the idea of $5 vouchers sound to you? It would seem that Amazon is currently running some kind of promotion in which they will be giving $5 vouchers to you and your friend that you recommend to its shopping app.
However there is a catch and that is that person must never have used the app before, meaning it is their first time. They also need to be in the US to qualify for the offer, so if they are not then we guess you’d be out of luck. The $5 will be given to both you and the person you recommended, and we suppose the more people you recommend the more vouchers you get to collect.
According to Amazon’s description in the updated Android app, “Invite your friends to use the Amazon Shopping App. We will give your friends a $5 coupon to shop at Amazon. We will also give you a $5 coupon, when your friends make their first purchase in the app (currently in US only).”
