If you’re in the market for new laptops, you might be interested to learn that Samsung has two new laptops that you could check out. They come in the form of the ATIV Book 9 Pro and the ATIV Book 9 Spin. The former will be your more traditional laptop, while the latter will feature a hinge that lets you flip the laptop’s display all the way to the back.
Both laptops will feature Windows 10 Home as its operating system of choice. However the ATIV Book 9 Pro will be slightly faster with its Intel Core i7 6700HQ, while the Spin model will use the 6500U model, but chances are the differences might not be noticeable if you aren’t really a power user.
Both models will come with 8GB of RAM and an SSD of 256GB. The Pro model will also be slightly bigger with a 15.6-inch 4K display, while the Spin will be smaller with a 13.3-inch QHD display, so if you need a larger and higher resolution display, the Pro model is clearly the obvious choice here. Both displays will have touch technology.
The Pro will also pack an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M GPU will the Spin will utilize the onboard Intel HD Graphics. Multimedia wise, the Pro will feature four pairs of speakers, versus the dual speaker setup of the Spin. If these sound like laptops you might be interested in, Samsung expects them to go up for sale later this month with the Pro priced at $1,599, and the Spin priced slightly less at $1,399.
