kangaroo-3In October last year, the Kangaroo computer was revealed, and it certainly caused different parties to sit up and take notice – as you more or less carry a fully functioning computer in the palm of your hand. The Windows 10-powered machine did arrive with a microSDXC memory card slot, an Intel Cherry Trail (Atom Z8500) processor clocked at 2.24GHz, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. Priced at $99 a pop, all that you need to do is to hook it up to a tablet and a keyboard, and you’ve more or less got a working computer on the move. Well, this time around, InFocus decided to up the ante, and they have decided to roll out a dock add-on which will connect to the Kangaroo via the two long pins, in order to offer additional connectivity options such as more USB ports and the ilk.

Of course, on display as well is a prototype dock that you can check out in the photo gallery above. Basically, the dock is a work in progress, but it should be made available commercially not too far down the road. In fact, this particular dock works in a simple manner – just place your Kangaroo inside, and it will then send visual information to the connecting monitor. Voila! Just like magic.
