android-calculatorSome things in life do happen to have that feel of inevitability and sense of obviousness, and makes perfect sense to fall into its place. The Google Calculator is one of them, being an app in just about every Android-powered device that has saved our skins many a time when calculating the breakdown of a shared meal in a large group, and it is nice to see that the Google Calculator has gained its rightful place on the Google Play Store.

Sure, it might seem to be nothing more than a simple calculator when you hold up your handset in portrait mode, but when you turn it into landscape mode, then all the addition, subtraction, multiplying and division would receive additional mathematical companions, if you will, as it is transformed into a scientific calculator that sports the relevant buttons for sine, cosine, tangent, logarithm and pi.

If you were still to prefer making use of the scientific calculator function in portrait mode, fret not. There is an easy way out, and that would be swiping to the left. By doing so, a panel will slide out that will carry all of the relevant buttons required in order to complete those far more complex computations. The icing on the cake? The Google Calculator will support Android Wear as well.
