overwatch screenshot2One of the cool features of Overwatch is that at the end of the game, players get to check out their highlight reel which is basically a video showing the player some of their better moments within the game. However these highlight reels aren’t saed and when you exit the game, the reels are deleted and you won’t be able to access them again.

The good news is that Blizzard has come to realize that gamers do enjoy these reels and that some gamers might even want to keep them, which is why Overwatch’s director Jeff Kaplan has revealed that maybe in the future, they could allow gamers to save the highlights in which it can either be saved as a video, or exported to a video format.

According to Kaplan, “The game will temporarily archive 5 highlights from your last play session. Playing only one game will only result in one highlight. Highlights are not currently saved if you close the game and come back. Our hope (and what we’re working toward) is to allow players to save highlights or export them to a video format someday.”

Now Overwatch is still a relatively new game and so far many reviews have expressed their positiveness about Blizzard’s latest IP, so it is only natural that as the game progresses, Blizzard will discover the different needs and requests of players in which it could be eventually added to the game.
