Flexible OLED Monitor Concept

Mac Funamizu has come up with some decent concepts in the past, and this time round he has revealed a flexible OLED monitor that can be rolled up when not in use into the white stand. The whole idea behind this is to obtain the optimal screen size of your choice, but seriously, isn't that going to be a pain for the software to detect - unless you can only roll the display outwards in certain segments that comply with a bunch of preset resolutions. While it sounds great and dandy, this concept is all but impossible at this point in time with Mac throwing in a CD drive behind the display alongside some form of invisible projection technology. We'll park this idea somewhere for 10 years and return to see if technology then makes it a viable proposition.
