Sony Releases New Wireless SingStar Microphones

Sony has just rolled out a new bunch of wireless SingStar microphones that are touted to be "easy to pass around". These accessories are lead-free, which is good for the environment, although we're not sure whether the voices that accompany them will be a disturbance to the local peace or not. Available at UK stores this March 20th onwards, they will be ready to meet the needs of those who want to pick up SingStar Pop Edition for PS3 this April. The new wireless SingStar microphones will play nice with the PS2 and PS3 consoles, and in "SingStar community" trials, 99% of participants decided to give the thumbs up as either "excellent" or "very good". Sounds promising to us - just don't go spoiling those songs with your warbling.
