Motopad to be first Honeycomb tablet from Google

Mobile-review’s Eldar Murtazin seems to be at the forefront of all juicy news concerning smartphones and the ilk these days, and this time round he brings news of the first Android 3.0 (aka Honeycomb) tablet that will be rolled out by Google with Motorola as their partner of choice, obviously dubbing it the Motopad. Too bad there aren’t any additional details about the Motopad apart from it having a 7-inch display, which is of the same size as that of the Samsung Galaxy Tab. Earlier on in the year, Motorola’s Sanjay Jha did mention that they could roll out an Android tablet sometime early next year, so the Motopad might be just the ticket. LG, HTC and other manufacturers are expected to join Motorola in releasing Android 3.0 Honeycomb-powered tablets next year as well.
