Slim Devices, RealNetworks team up

Slim Devices and RealNetworks have integrated the Rhapsody online music service with the current generation of Squeezebox devices. The Squeezebox Internet music player now has access to well over 2 million tracks available in Rhapsody, providing users with a total musical experience right in the living room. Slim Devices has released SlimServer 6.3 that comes with full support for Rhapsody, enabling Squeezebox v3 and v2 owners to enjoy the Rhapsody service free for a month. Subsequent monthly subscriptions stand at $14.95. You now no longer need to contend with shuffling through your CD collection – just use the remote control and you’re good to go.
