CES 2007 – The idea of Vertical Line Array (VLA) speakers are not new, but it is definitely a great one if engineered properly. Plastoform decided to implement VLA in their latest speakers that bring you crystal clear sound no matter where you are seated in the room. A quick sound demo featuring the Eagles’ rendition of Hotel California as well as a number from Norah Jones demonstrated the versatility of these speakers, as they sound virtually the same from any angle.Of course, the sleek design will definitely add to its appeal, but discerning audiophiles would probably bypass this mass-consumer audio solution for higher end equipment instead. The Plastoform line of VLA-220 speakers will be released to the market sometime in June this year at a yet undisclosed price.
