You have to hand it to Chinese DAP manufacturers for coming up with improved designs on models that are currently available in the market. Teclast is one such company who aims to raise their profile from ‘cheap and generic’ to one that has quality – pretty much the same struggle for Samsung when it first marketed its cellphones many years ago. I suppose these are just growing pains, but I digress. The C280 from Teclast features 2GB of internal memory and boasts a superb 2.4″ QVGA display (320 x 240), an integrated FM tuner and recorder, a microSD slot for expansion options, and support for MP3, WMA, and AVI formats. The Teclast C280 is expected to hit markets later this month for approximately $65 a pop. Would you pick this over an iPod Shuffle?
