Word from the Grapevine

A recent trip to Grapevine was pretty fruitful (pardon the pun), where we gathered information that Microsoft is prepping Zune 2.0 that will come in a slimmer form factor along with a more generous hard drive, while a flash-based Zune is also being developed and will feature a screen that takes up 3/4 of the front display. Apparently Apple won’t be sitting idle either, releasing a 6th generation iPod in addition to having 12GB/16GB iPod nanos that retail for $249. Do you think any of these rumors hold water? As for me, I’ll just play the waiting game for an official statement to confirm or squash those rumors.
