Altec Lansing powers your home theater

Altec Lansing has taken the next step by enlarging its portfolio to include home theater systems. The Powered Theater line will ship this August, offering booming sound in a small and svelte form factor. There will be a couple of models available – the PT8051 and PT7031. The former is a two piece system, while the latter is goes solo. The slim form factors are guaranteed to complement your slim plasma/LCD TV in order to create a harmony of design in the living room. Both Powered Theater units utilize NXT flat panel loudspeakers for realistic sound. The PT7031 and PT8051 is tipped to retail for $600 and $1,000 respectively.
