Bose MusicMonitor system

Bose has a new sound system to further deplete your bank account with the Bose Computer MusicMonitor system. The MusicMonitor system is rather unique since they do not come with a subwoofer – will Bose’s audio expertise make it sound good even when it is missing such a vital ingredient? According to folks who heard it, the pre-recorded tracks for Bose sound pretty good even without the help of a subwoofer, but the real crunch comes in everyday use. While I’m sure it won’t sound hollow like other solutions, surely it won’t break any new grounds. The MusicMonitor system retails for $399 and will be released this October 4th. Sounds pretty expensive for an audio system that lacks a subwoofer.
