It amazes me how people are willing to disembowel something so new, and here we have the recently released Creative Zen X-Fi in its naked glory, belly open and all. It opens up pretty much in the same way as the Zen did, although the face separates from the backing with the circuit boards. There is also a wee bit of glue applied to each clip that holds everything together, making the Zen X-Fi feel a little more solid compared to the older Zen. I guess normal folk need not open up the Zen X-Fi unless they are willing to take the risk that putting it back together again might not result in the original tight feel…man, that doesn’t sound too right.
