Honda is currently developing a gas-electric motorcycle that will rely on a hybrid drivetrain, and this model might even hit showrooms within a couple of years time. Not much information is available concerning this Honda hybrid, but it will apparently be available in displacements ranging from a mere 50cc all the way to 1,000cc, with a 50% improvement in fuel economy – definitely a plus point in anybody’s books considering the ever rising costs of fuel. Hopefully this technology will also be transferred into hybrid cars in the future. Unless you’re a performance nut who is willing to sacrifice a little bit of the environment for your enjoyment, hybrid vehicles look set to take over the future.
