Microsoft’s much talked about Arc mouse has just been announced, and I am still coming to terms with its design. Touted to bring the best of both desktop and notebook mice designs in a single device, this unique peripheral boasts a a fold-out hand support, where the fully extended mouse has the surface area of a desktop mouse. When folded, it is as small and portable as a notebook mouse, making this one interesting hybrid. It connects based on the 2.4GHz RF and relies on laser tracking unlike its BlueTrack brother. Apart from the three buttons on top and two side buttons, Microsoft will release both black and red colors of the Arc later this month for $60 each.
