Jaybird kicks off the new year with their athlete-targeted A2DP Bluetooth Stereo Claws. This new pair might look familiar, bearing a very strong family resemblance with its predecessors, but it will boast apt-X audio compression to provide superior sound quality, with Jaybird touting they will rival wired versions. In addition, you will benefit from new tips for sound isolation while its modified design is able to cater a wider range of ears. Jaybird will also introduce new metal-cased Tiger Eyes earbuds and over ear Acoustic Dens for more options. There is no word on pricing as at press time, although they will be available in April. We’ll be at CES 2009 to check them out up close and personal though, so watch this space!
