AT&T Working On U-Verse IPTV Box With Femtocell Capability

Word has leaked out from an AT&T employee that the company is working on an U-Verse IPTV box with femtocell capability – just in case you didn’t get that, in layman’s terms it means a set top box that not only holds the TV, but telephone and Internet as well in addition to improving your cellular reception. Sounds like it has everything you need, eh? For folks who subscribe to AT&T’s cell phone packages and suffer from weak AT&T reception, this box sounds like a really good idea so it would bode well for AT&T to roll it out soonest possible. Word has it that the box will be released sometime in the coming year at an affordable price.
