Green Erg Generator

The Green Erg Generator will target places where electricity is hard to come by, as it is a dynamo that harvests electricity from friction generated with the ground while walking. According to Dr. Cedrick Ngalande, normal walking speeds will be able to yield more than 2 watts of power, which is ample for powering cell phones as well as radios. It does make you look rather silly though, having an attachment around your waist that goes all the way to the floor (or ground in Africa), giving you the mule-look. Perhaps workers around the office can wear this as a sign of just how overworked they feel. We don’t think running with this is a fine idea though, as it might snag onto something to jerk you backwards, leading to a huge fall.
