iRiver P7 Officially Announced

At long last, the iRiver P7 is officially announced although there is still no word of a release date, even in its own home ground of South Korea. What we do know about the iRiver P7 is this – it will come in varying capacities to suit every budget, ranging from 4GB to 8GB, 16GB and 32GB. Too bad the built-in speaker does not support stereo, but hopefully the 4.3″ touchscreen TFT LCD display at 480 x 272 resolution will be supported by an intuitive user interface. Just in case the on-board memory is not enough, you will have a microSD memory card slot to help you out. Supported audio and video formats include MP3, WMA, WAV, OGG, FLAC, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4 Simple Profile, MPEG-4 Advanced, Simple Profile (B-VOP only), Xvid, WMV 7/8/9, RM/RMVB and H.264 Baseline Profile.
