Light Switches That Look Cool

Just how much sexier can a light switch at home get? Well, Firsthand Design has done a great job with their new light switch concept that features intuitive touch sensitive panels. The panel boasts eight program scene buttons, a power button, brightness control, an infrared receiver, built-in flash memory and the ability to program from an iCAN network. You have a choice of icons to select from, and for those who prefer text options, there is a text language infused design. The panel itself is constructed from a Polycarbonate/ABS blend mold due to two factors – the material is durable and ideal for recycling. We wonder when will such solutions hit the market.
