Wish your iPod Video could hold more than just 80GB worth of audio and video files? Well, RapidRepair has a solution for you – it will upgrade the hard drive in your existing iPod Video by cramming in a new 1.8″ 240GB Toshiba hard drive. This dual-platter drive will feature a PATA interface, spinning at 4,200RPM which results in improved load times over similarly sized hard drives. RapidRepair says that the 1.8″ Toshiba hard drive is not compatible with computers, the iPod Classic or Microsoft Zune, although they do hope to overcome this with a future firmware update. There is no word on pricing or availability for the drive, but rest assured RapidRepair will offer customers a choice between a DIY installation or installation service of its own.
