Self-closing Toilet Seat

Ah, the fabled toilet seat and its countless arguments that have started because of it. It is the equivalent of Helen of Troy, being the object at home (next to the remote control) that has launched a thousand arguments throughout one’s lifetime. To leave it up or down, that is the question. Fret not as this group of students from Skjern Technical College in Denmark have cobbled together an intelligent toilet which is smart enough to put down its seat after a flushing session without taking up additional energy – the women will definitely love it, while the men will have to learn to aim better with this. We hope to see it commercialized soonest possible.
