Wi-Fi radios might be far more powerful than their vintage counterparts, but that doesn’t mean they’re nice to look at. There’s nothing quite like merging both the old and the new, and the same applies to this Aluratek Internet radio that has found a home for its innards in the shell of a vintage radio. Of course, you will need a whole lot of DIY knowledge to pull this off, while there are also other considerations to think about including painting the buttons, mounting the display and speakers in the right places and even reshaping the Wi-Fi radio’s motherboard if the need arises. It will take a fair amount of hours to complete this project, but the satisfaction you get out of it? Priceless.
