Talk about having great faith in one’s own products!Wang Chuan-Fu, CEO at Chinese automaker BYD, actually drank battery fluid – something most of us would think is highly toxic. Not that there ought to be a new diet which involves drinking battery water from vehicles due to the current doldrums most countries are facing, but it does prove to the world that battery safety is an important point. Currently, electric vehicles do seem to hold many more advantages over petroleum-powered counterparts, despite battery technology being in its infancy. Hopefully future research will reveal new materials and processes that will make vehicles much cleaner than what we have today.
