
Locks are no longer a matter of inserting the key and turning it the right way, as technology progresses, so has the world of locks. Samsung has released its latest digital door lock – the Ezon SHS-1210. Touted as the thinnest door lock with an integrated touch sensor in the world, the Ezon measures a mere 21.5mm thin, and is constructed from aluminum alloy for enhanced strength. This is the base model of the SHS-3120 which was specially developed for US markets. The integrated touch sensor comes in a special black tempered glass, becoming visible only when the control button is pressed to improve upon product security. The SHS-1210 also comes with fire detection and anti-electric shock function up to 30,000 V as standard features.
