
OLED technology has finally made its way to our rearview mirrors, so it is no surprise to see researchers at ETRI having applied for 51 patents (nationally and internationally for the technology), where one of these include a transparent oxide resistor which is able to increase the aperture ratio of AMOLEDs. On a similar note, NeoView KOLON did release a new prototype rearview mirror which features a transparent OLED display that can be used to display other kinds of information, making it all the much harder to keep your eyes on the road.
