X-mini Max II

XM-I is certainly on a roll this time round with yet another mini speaker release – the X-mini Max II. The Max II shares a slightly different philosophy when it comes to design, looking like some sort of Star Wars drone, alongside angled, exposed tops which were done on purpose to “open out” the speakers in order to achieve more focused sounds. The larger girth also points toward more space that can house a larger driver. According to CEO Ryan Lee, “the Max II will nearly double the sonic prowess of the original.” What makes the Max II more appealing is the ability to daisy chain a bunch of X-mini units to create a cacophony that will drive your neighbors nuts if you’re a night owl who thrives on action movies. The X-mini Max II is tipped to retail for $48 when available.
