Axis Communications has unveiled a new range of P13 network cameras that come in day and night versions, featuring HDTV video, H.264 streams, a dummy-proof installation process, remote back access and pixel counter features. First off is the P1343 Network Camera with SVGA resolution, while the P1344 is able to deliver 1-megapixel/HDTV 720p resolution. Last but not least is the beefier P1346 that delivers 3-megapixels/HDTV 1080p resolution. Shared features among the P13 series include :-
- Two way audio support with enhanced audio quality
- Video intelligence
- Audio Detection
- Camera tempering detection
- Support for optional SD/SDHC memory card for local video recordings
- Multiple individually configurable video streams in H.264 compression
- Motion JPEG support
- Support for power over Ethernet
No idea on pricing, but these will be out in Q3 later this year.
