We know that the “S” suffix in the iPhone 3GS stands for speed, and the engineers at Apple sure as heck weren’t kidding when they touted the handset’s speed improvement since it is able to handle near flawless emulation of older games from the PlayStation and GBA consoles. What caught our attention is a video of Final Fantasy VII being played at nearly PSOne speeds, making us drool in anticipation of reliving classics on both platforms with our shiny new cellphones.
We wonder how well the emulator runs on an iPhone 3G… we told you to be prepared for a 3GS graphics “shock”, but you have seen nothing yet.
