NEC populates the netbook market with two more models from the LaVie Light series – the BL100 and BL300/310/350 models .These netbooks won’t be groundbreaking in any way (as with other netbooks that have yet to truly break new ground due to hardware limitations), but we do know the BL100 is inadequately equipped where data storage is concerned with just a 16GB SSD inside sans hard drive. Other standard features include an Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor, 10.1″ LCD display, an integrated webcam, 1GB RAM and Wi-Fi connectivity. The BL300 has a beefier Atom N280 1.66GHz processor, 160GB hard drive and Bluetooth connectivity as plus points. The NEC BL100, BL300, BL310 and BL350 will retail for around $520, $625, $735 and $735, respectively.
