Guess the Samsung Omnia Pro is most likely to hit the markets sometime this year after initial rumblings in April, and some have even claimed that this Windows Mobile 6.1-powered smartphone is the Samsung Louvre B7610. Well, apart from the 3.5″ AMOLED touchscreen display at 480 x 800 resolution and slide-out QWERTY keyboard, it will also feature the following :-
- 2 User Interfaces (Pro and Media)
- HSDPA/HSUPA connectivity
- GPS navigation
- Bluetooth and Wi-Fi with DLNA support
- 5.1-megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash
- 800MHz processor
- TV out
- 3.5 mm headset jack
- Divx/WMV/H.264 acceleration
- Integrated FM radio
- 1GB internal memory
- microSDHC memory card slot
We’re probably looking at an August 2009 release date, so keep your fingers crossed that Samsung won’t price this above the psychological €500 mark – as if there aren’t enough expensive phones around already.
