Samsung To Sell 2 Million LED TVs

Samsung Electronics has managed to shift 400,000 LED TVs worldwide since April, snagging up to 90% of the world’s market share, but they aim to surpass that amount fivefold by moving 2 million LED TVs worldwide this year, making up 10% of all Samsung’s LCD TV sales. Samsung will not stop there as they continue to promote LED TVs throughout home around the world, and we hope that mass adoption of such technology will further drive down prices to more affordable levels. So much for the worldwide econonic crunch – in comparison, worldwide LED TV sales amounted to just 200,000 units in 2008.
