BFG Deimos gaming notebook

BFG wants to up the ante in the gaming notebook segment by rolling out three levels of hardware: Performance, Advanced and Elite. The Elite is pretty much self-descriptive, being the top dog among the three by running on an Intel Core 2 Extreme 2.53GHz processor, featuring 8GB RAM and a GeForce 280M graphics card. As for the Advanced, it will run on an Intel Core 2 Quad 2GHz processor, boast 8GB RAM as well and a GeForce 280M graphics card. Last but not least is the Performance that relies on an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.53GHz processor alongside 4GB RAM and a GeForce 260M processor. All three models will share a massive 18.4″ display, giving you an idea on just how heavy lugging this around will be. Expect the Performance, Advanced and Elite gaming notebooks to retail for $2,299, $3,699 and $4,499, respectively, when they ship later this October 30th.
