1 Million Yuna Haptic Phones In 7 Months

The Yuna Haptic phone from Samsung is a rather interesting phone. It sports features like a 3-megapixel camera, T-DMB for watching live TV, SOS functionality, a Diary for you to blog. It also has a proximity sensor that disables the touchscreen when your face is close to the screen, preventing any accidental key-presses. One of the selling points of the phone (apparently) is that it’s endorsed by Yuna Kim, a Korean figure skater. The phone doesn’t seem too bad on paper, but its sales figures are certainly impressive, as Samsung has managed to sell 1 million of this Yuna Haptic phone in the short period of 7 months. Now it will have to be seen whether this phone can keep its momentum going, or will it be dampened by the fact that the iPhone is now (officially) available in Korea.
