Bell has just released its latest Android-powered handset, the Samsung Galaxy, where it will retail for $99.95 on a 3-year contract while those who prefer to forge their own path will have to fork out $449.95 sans contract. Sounds like a tall order to garner decent sales results since Rogers is offering the HTC Dream, Magic and LG Eve for $79.99 or less while Telus has the uber popular HTC Hero at a similar price point ($99.99) alongside the Motorola MILESTONE lined up for an early 2010 debut. To sweeten the deal and reduce its disadvantages, Bell will throw in a free Vancouver 2010 decal.
