Modern homes do not only rely on an updated design, but will need new technology peppered all over the place for the overall feel and look. The Control Dock is one device for your home which allows you to mount your iPod for good, targeting home-control applications to make it work as a comprehensive home automation solution instead of just another multiroom iPod dock solution. A magnectic faceplate will seal the screen as your iPod is snapped into a wall-mounted cradle, while a couple of external buttons on the faceplate allows you to access the iPod’s power and menu buttons. There is no word on pricing and availability at press time, but we hope the final product would prove to be interesting and useful, obviously.
