Google Might Pull Out Of China

You might want to read it a couple of times before you believe it, but it seems that Google is seriously considering exiting its China business. It seems almost impossible to imagine Google pulling the plug on google.cn, but it seems that there might be a very real possibility of it happening. Google has stated that this is related to it not wanting to censor its searches in the country anymore, and also due to a recent sophisticated attack on Google, originating from China, most likely targeting Chinese human rights activists. Google will be sitting down with the China government over the next few weeks to discuss the possibility of them operating an unfiltered search engine within the law, but it’s hard to imagine the China government allowing a search engine to go unfiltered. What do you think about the possibility of Google pulling out of China?
