This concept watch design by Carl Allen looks quite cool. On the surface, it looks like any other digital watch on the market, granted it looks cool, but that’s not the main feature. While most watches that use a seven-segment display are digital devices, this watch actually uses a mechanical system to display the time. There are small panels under the surface of the watch that will be revealed or hidden in order to show the time. It’s pretty cool, and does set itself apart from most of the watches out there. Too bad there isn’t any mention of whether this design will be converted into a real product anytime soon.
