SmartCap monitors brain using sensors

SmartCap is the brainchild of Australian-based research organization CRC Mining, where it supposedly is able to detect fatigue of truck drivers who are working on mining operations, thanks to hi-tech brain monitoring sensors within the baseball cap. All brain wave data are recorded and communicated thanks to a wireless Bluetooth connection which will not only alert the driver but the supervising station as well. Basically, coming in the form of a baseball cap, it is the least intrusive form at the moment. Don’t expect the SmartCap to roll out commercially just yet since it will take further testing in order to ensure it ends up being fully reliable round the clock.
