Coulomb Technologies offers home use electric vehicle charging station

Coulomb Technologies aims to make electric vehicles mainstream by offering a home use version of its electric vehicle charging station which comes in the form of the CT500 Level II ChargePoint Networked Charging Station. It will deliver a 7.2 kw output and plays nice with Leviton’s Evr-Green EVSE “plug-and-play” pre-wiring kit. While installation isn’t rocket science, it will still require some technical know how to get around it. Featuring an industry standard SAE J1772 connector, it is capable of accommodating a whole range of electric vehicles. No idea on how much it will cost at the moment, but you can always call up one of the nine Coulomb distributors in the US for additional information.
