
While we’re not trying to shine a laser into every HDSLR camera that we come across, but some person managed to damage the sensor on a Canon EOS 5D Mark II, which is an interesting (if not unpleasant) feat. It’s not entirely clear if CMOS sensors are more susceptible to such issues, but the bottom line is, though we more or less already knew that shining a laser into sensitive equipment would always have the possibility of damage. The question is: would you want to do such a thing as shinig your laser into your DSLR.
