LG raring to go in 3D market

South Korean electronics giant LG is currently preparing to make a really big splash in the 3D market, where it has started to offer its range of first Blu-ray 3D players and 3D TVs, while placing two and two together into 3D bundles. Recently, its Infinia LX6500 47″ LED TV was rolled out alongside the LX9500 55″ LED TV, which are actually its first 3D-ready TV sets. To complement these spanking new TVs, LG also decided to roll out its first Blu-ray player capable that can handle Blu-ray 3D movies for the whole family, although additional costs need to be incurred since you will need to pay for your own 3D active shutter glasses. To sweeten the deal, LG decided to give a $100 discount if you prefer to pick up a 3D TV, 3D Blu-ray player and two pairs of activate shutter glasses, not to mention benefitting from a free copy of the movie IMAX Under The Sea 3D.
